Evolving the shooter genre with its unique and exhilarating
combination of fluid action and combat, Damnation will feature huge,
open environments, frenetic combat, daredevil acrobatics and
high-octane vehicle-based stunts. Presenting players with an
intense test of reflexes, quick thinking and rapid-fire conflict,
Damnation will feature vast, breathtaking landscapes, each covering
miles of distance and thousands of vertical feet.
Billed as a shooter gone vertical and visually inspired by iconic
elements of American history, these massive streaming landscapes
will form the battlegrounds for a post-industrial conflict between
humanity and an unstoppable arms dealer hell-bent on total world
domination.
Players will be able to choose their own paths and navigate the
world by performing daredevil feats on the edge of human ability.
However, players aren�t the only ones with mind-blowing acrobatic
skills; intelligent enemies will give chase and engage players in
frantic gun fights and attacks that can come from any direction
in Damnation�s world there�s no safe place to hide.
With up to three hours of actual gameplay stretching out in front
of them per level, players will need more than just muscle power
to get across each level safely. Damnation will offer players a
selection of awe-inspiring vehicles, from motorbikes capable of
launching across seemingly infinite chasms, to huge, armour-
piercing marvels that will induce mayhem with every huge shell.
The high action will be supported with an epic and in-depth story
which, while focusing on the exploits of the hero character Rourke,
is truly an ensemble piece. Players will meet and become involved
in intricate story plots that reveal much more than the obvious.
In addition to the single player experience, Damnation comes
complete with a unique set of multiplayer options that take full
advantage of the games expansive levels.

The successor to the hit title "Codename: Panzers." For the first time ever,
the series leaves the World War II stage to take the story into Cold War
East-West conflicts fought on fictitious battlefields. Codename Panzers:
Cold War picks up during the aftermath of World War 2. Tensions are high in
occupied Germany between the NATO forces in the West and the Soviets in the
East. After an accidental mid-air collision between a Russian MIG and an
Allied cargo plane, the player is thrust into an all-out war between the two
superpowers. Over the course of 18 missions, the player will lead small groups
of infantry and armor in a variety of locations throughout Eastern Europe.

"Sniper Elite", sim, é mais um jogo de tiro em primeira pessoa. Porém, há um diferencial: ele é baseado nas armas dos "snipers", os atiradores de elite. E mais do que isso, é um jogo com o qual você sentirá todas as dificuldades que um atirador tem para efetuar seus disparos certeiros. Pelo menos, essa é a promessa dos produtores.
Fãs de "Counter-Strike", por exemplo, não devem se empolgar com a idéia de sair correndo com a mira ativada, pulando e atirando igual louco. Em "Sniper Elite", durante a alternação entre os modos de visão em terceira e primeira pessoa, é preciso se preocupar com detalhes como vento, distância, coice da arma (o tranco que ela dá na hora do tiro), sua respiração e até mesmo as batidas do seu coração.
A ação não se limita a atirar e pronto. É preciso usar muita estratégia e pensar em rota de fuga, armadilhas para despistar eventuais perseguidores... todo o realismo necessário para fazer um jogo diferente do estilo.
Os modos multijogador também têm duas faces. Apesar de não fazer o gênero corre e atire, "Sniper Elite" oferece o tradicional "Deathmatch". Mas há também um modo de cooperação, com dois atiradores em conjunto para cumprir as missões, e que promete capturar o espírito do game.

O jogo se passa num laboratório de localização desconhecida, chamado Aperture Science Enrichment Center Experiments, em que, ao que tudo indica, tem um único controlador que é um computador repleto de bom humor e segundas intenções chamado “GLaDOS” (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System), e é no dever de Chell – a protagonista na qual o jogador encarna – testar a “Portal Device”. No inicio, a personagem principal acorda depois de alguns anos para testar a arma em testes organizados pelo “computador-chefão” do laboratório, e esses testes consistem em passar de um local ao outro, com o objetivo final de escapar do laboratório com vida, é claro. Mas não espere que seja fácil, GLaDOS é um computador psicótico e excêntrico, e apesar de algumas dicas no início, não facilitará sua vida sempre.

Need for Speed Undercover é mais um título da série que ficou famosa no mundo inteiro pelo modo ousado de abordar corridas. Modelos esportivos de todos os tipos aparecem em todos os jogos da franquia. A maneira com que a Electronic Arts transformou sonhos automobilísticos de vários jogadores em realidade virtual fez com que milhares de fãs experimentassem alguns games NFS.
